Summary: The Marketing Coordinator supports the Select Business Unit and Marketing Department, with the marketing and binding of new and renewal business. Responsibilities include information gathering, marketing, online rating, and proposals shell creation as needed. Responsibilities:
Must be able to manage a high level of insurance related information in a variety of formats and be able to identify appropriate carriers.
Negotiates premiums, coverages, terms and conditions for prospective clients.
Sends new business submissions - applications, loss history, etc. - to appropriate insurance companies.
Helps to follow up on outstanding quotes from carriers/brokers.
Rates lines of coverage as needed on carrier/broker websites.
Creates proposal shells and enters quote information onto proposals to assist the SBU/Marketing Department.
Attends carrier/broker meetings to learn more about the different markets and build relationships.
Participates in required continuing professional development.
