Position Mission: The Marketing Intern to assist the department with administrative and related tasks. The PR Intern’s responsibilities include providing assistance in accurate and efficient operation and implementation of carrying out all PR projects. The intern is primarily responsible for the content creation, scheduling, copy storyboarding, monitoring, and posting on social media, as well as engaging with the online community. We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in gaining hands-on experience growing a digital brand from the ground up. Each intern will have a primary social media platform to focus on, but the opportunity to work on other platforms/teams.
Position Minimum Qualifications: Meet the standards of academic standing to participate in program Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects The ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties: Answer phone and perform other receptionist/clerical duties Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems Creating flyers, pamphlets, mail ads, booklets, brochures, etc. Creating content and graphics for social media Covering social media platforms every day (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) Responding to clients on social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) Covering events and meetings on social media Keep the website updated Perform all other job duties as assigned
Other: Adhere to staff dress code Maintain a professional and respectful working relationship with staff and peers Perform all other duties as assigned
